Jean POUMAREDE is born in 1943 in CLERMONT-FERRAND ( France)
Manager FRANCE TELECOM
Retired since 2003
From 1970 to 1980 painter for tapestries of Aubusson
Numeric painter since 1995
Several exhibitions in FRANCE ( Paris and in all the provinces),ITALY
2005:Distinguished by DROUOT Cotations PARIS
June 2006:Honour Award and Award of the Public at the 1° International Festival of Digital Arts ( France)
Several travels in Egypt and Morocco since twenty years ,hence his artistic inspiration
Influenced by surrealists painters ,DALI and MAGRITTE especially and symbolist painters
such as GAUGUIN ,Puvis de CHAVANNES .
Exhibitions on the Web since 2001
ORIGINAL MONO-PRINT on special paper 170g,

My pictural work is often symbolist approach.
(southern women,pharaonic Egypt and Egypt today)
But I try be open at the free winds of my inspiration
I work only my screen computer and the stylus and Wacom tablet
In my opinion ,the digital arts are the continuity traditional paintings,
an other means of pictural expression with other tools.
