I live in Michigan, USA . Temporarily living in Oslo, Norway on a job assignment.
I'm a mechanical engineer by profession, so I think it's the mathematical aspect of fractals that fascinate me. Any artistic merit some of my images might have is almost incidental! |

I got interested in fractals in the mid-nineties. It was a Grateful Dead catalog, of all things, that started it. There was this amazing image on the cover (I later learned it was a Mandelbrot Set zoom) and I searched around the web to find out how it was created. I found a program called Fractint and I was hooked. A few years later, Ultra Fractal appeared and I've been using it ever since.
